ReplyDeleteVery pretty colors but if a rooster got that close to hatching eggs he'd probably eat them all. Heck, some hens would too. Not every hen feels broody.

ReplyDeleteP.S. Female chickens have combs and wattles, too! They're just smaller than the males' (which I'm sure makes the roosters feel oh-so-superior... ::winks::)
Hens may also have combs and wattles, but not gorgeous bright feathers like that.
