Today I'm posting this fun Vintage Heart Label, taken from an Antique Printers Book. The original was used for an Ad for two Attorneys!  I've transformed it into a fun Valentine's Day Label or Sticker Printable. You could print these on to Full sheet 8 1/2" x 11" Blank Labels (available at Staples etc.) and then cut them out. They're great to use as a seal on the back of Envelopes, you can write in your return address, or a sweet note. Nice for packages too!

Instant Art Printable - Vintage Map of Africa

This is another Vintage Map from an 1880's book. This time I'm sharing a Map of Africa!  You can see more Maps from this book HERE. I wish I could say that I have lots of more of these, but although many countries were discussed in the book, there were only a handful of Maps to go with the descriptions.

Vintage Wedding Clip Art - Ring with Doves

This is a really lovely image of  2 Doves perched on top of a Wedding Ring with a Bow underneath! This one comes from an 1880's Typography book. As you can see, by the original image, it's made to hold a Monogram in the center. Perfect for Wedding Stationary! I've removed the Monogram so that you can place your own in the center, or you could add a Date for Save the Date cards!

Vintage Clip Art - Silhouette Boy & Girl

Today my dream Typography book came in the mail!! I've been trying for nearly 2 years to acquire this particular book and I'm so excited to finally have it in my hot little hands! The book is quite rare, it's from the 1880's and filled with gorgeous images that the Printers would have used at that time, for Newspapers, Books and Magazines.  These two Silhouettes are from that book. Shown here are a darling Boy and a sweet Girl with a long Braid in her hair. The original scan was actually quite tiny, about half an inch, but I scanned them at a very high resolution and then enlarged them using Illustrator, to make them more useable. I hope you like them!

Vintage Valentine Clip Art - and a GIVEAWAY

If you've seen this card before, it's because I'm revisiting it again in honor of today's Giveaway and Guest project! I originally posted this cute Scottish Boy Valentine, several years ago, before I knew anything about Photoshop. This is the new and improved, higher res image of that same Valentine.

Now for the more exciting part! My dear friend Dinah Corley, from Gourmet Gifts, came up with this fun idea for Valentine's Day, using one of her amazing Recipes!  Notice how she placed a Heart Shaped Cookie over top of the Heart that the Scottish Boy is holding. So cute!! This is one of the many fabulous projects from Dinah's book Gourmet Gifts. You can grab her Scottish Shortbread Cookie Recipe and instructions for the project HERE. And don't worry the "glue" she used is edible and tasty too!  Wouldn't these make a fabulous gift for Valentine's Day?!

And even more exciting news, Dinah has agreed to give away another copy of her book, actually two copies (one will be given away here, and the other on Dinah's site), and she will be autographing them! You may recall when I did a giveaway of this book last year. It's fantastic book filled with amazing recipes and all sorts of wonderful crafty ways that you can package them to give as gifts!

Here are the rules:
